While in Turkey for business back in 2021, we went to see a local sheep farm, and that’s where I met Imre. He was tending his sheep. Imre’s eyes held the warmth of the Turkish sun. He ran a sheep farm – a life etched onto his face in wrinkles and a quiet strength. Visiting his farm, I saw more than just an owner. He knew each sheep and their needs. He moved among them with a calm assurance and protection. There was a simple dignity in his work, a deep respect in the way he cared for his flock. It was clear: these sheep weren’t just livestock; they were in the care of a true shepherd.
