This painting is about the moment of tension between two opposites: day and night. It captures that brief pause when these worlds intersect, when one force has not yet retreated, and the other is already on the threshold. It’s painted on debris from a suicide drone I picked up in downtown Kyiv. I mounted the fragment onto a fibreboard, and there’s a small sample of that material attached on the back.
